“A Game of Armored Combat” in 1987

The second issue of Blackthorne’s BattleTech comic book series offers up a variant on the ad that we saw a few days ago. The first issue was printed in color, but the second (and later issues that I own) are all in B&W, meaning that Fasa and Blackthorne couldn’t simply rerun that ad from the BattleTech and BattleForce first issues. So, instead, we get this B&W ad featuring a Rifleman with some stubby arm cannons. I can’t say what’s off here, but those gun do not look right to me.
