A New Glyos Construction
I posted this over at the Glyos forum at October Toys, but I know not all of you are members of those forums so I decided to post these two photos here.
The first photo shows my Custom Corps Sincroid (review here) being stalked by something large and new.
The second photo shows my new construction. I built him out of two Buildmen, four Phase Arms, two Gobon Blasters, and a couple of BeanBot parts. The ability to build stuff is a large part of what makes these Glyos toys so much fun. Think of them as Lego action figures.
Cool buildup, man! I like that vaporator as well! BTW: Happy Birthday, dude!
That’s a really cool looking little dude. Those guys definitely look neat. Nice picture taking skills too.
@monsterforge- Thanks! Today’s the official birthday day, but last night we had a great party here at the house.
@newton – I’ve been trying to work on some more interesting photos; ripping out an ugly bush in the front yard and dropping some landscaping that I like helped.
That custom looks awesome. Being able customize is why I like bionicle so much. But the glyos look so cool, I am practically drooling ready to get my hands on some.
@clark – The older Glyos figures are good for building, but they’re nothing compared to the new Buildman figure. I can’t wait to hear your opinion on the Glyos figures once you get a chance to play with them; maybe you can post a review after you get yours.
Like it, like it. The head is especially nice.
With the recent orders arriving, everyone has been busy. I just updated my blog with something as well…
Thanks, John. I’m still trying to build one figure using two Buildmen, but I’m not having a lot of luck creating something that I’m happy with.
So I got all of my orders in. The pheyden and exellis figures are really cool, but you’re right. You can do a little bit with them but mostly they are neat “as is.” But you can do so much more with a few buildmen. I can’t wait for some new colors to come out.
