“Action and Adventure with Return of the Jedi Toys” in 1983
That Imperial Shuttle ad we saw a few days ago wasn’t the only bit of remarkable advertising for Kenner’s Star Wars in that particular newspaper. Scroll back to page 177 and you’ll find this remarkable ad block featuring the Speeder Bike, Jabbe the Hutt, action figures, and even a Star Wars slumber bag, all things that 1983 me would have happily taken for Christmas that year.
