Action Toys’ Machine Robo Tank Comparison
The upcoming relaunch of the classic GoBots series (video posted here) looks incredible. The toys shown in the Action Toys Machine Robo line appear to be of the Transformers Masterpiece level of quality, and that video makes it tough to decide which will be my second purchase from the new line.
The first purchase is an easy decision: Tank, also known as MR-02 Battle Robo. If we compare the classic toy to the update (classic toy, update) then it’s easy to see why I’m so excited by this new line: Those new designs have similarities to the past with completely modern engineering. And the new toys look fantastic!

As with the Diaclone reboot, all these are missing is vac-metal. It’s what really makes toys of the 70’s and 80’s stand out, in my opinion. Otherwise, holy crap, am I going to buy these!

SO WANT! I always loved the groove-tastic pyramid shaped head of this guy. Makes me want a whole battalion of robot space tank-bots!
