Ad for The X-Files CCG, 101361 Expansion

The 101361 ad I posted a few days ago came from the July 1997 issue of InQuest magazine, but that wasn’t the only ad we’ve uncovered for the game’s only expansion. This, a second advertisement for 101361 and found in the August 1997 InQuest. is a simpler graphic design and a lot less cluttered than the other ad.

I happen to own a sealed booster display of the 101361 expansion, and one of these days I’ll have to crack into that and get a close look at the expansion set cards. I never got deep into the game when it was new, so opening the display will be my first time with the expansion.
