September 24, 1989. We’ve seen the Pool of Radiance game before (1989-1990 SSI catalog posted here), but not like this! The Boston, Massachusetts, Boston Globe newspaper includes this tiny block showing the game on sale . . . and I am reminded of just how expensive computer games were in the late eighties. Ouch!
