Adventure People and Their TV Action Team, Comes Complete as Shown
There are no amazing books devoted to the Fisher-Price Adventure People. Not a one that I’ve been able to find. The Fisher-Price: Historical, Rarity, and Value Guide* does an okay job, but the book’s dedicated to the company and no one line, so the Adventure People don’t get the page space that I’d love to see.

Boy, do I wish FP would bring back the Adventure People line!
I had tons and tons of these as a kid, and I abused them pretty heavily, but I swear I never broke any of them! All of the cool camping and adventure vehicles and tents and stuff always took part in my G.I. Joe battles. The submarine with the working claw on the front is one of my all time favorite toys! Now that my son is almost two, I’ve been looking at the stuff that Fisher Price is doing for kids, and while it’s got a lot of what the Adventure People had as far as cool vehicles and play value, I miss the AP’s focus on real world occupations. Kind of like Playmobil, but way more durable.
