Even if I hadn’t already drooled all over their work at New York Toy Fair (first NTYF 2011 post, second NYTF 2011 post, third NYTF 2011 post) then I’d be dying to get this Batman for two simple reasons:
- It’s a highly poseable Batman action figure.
- It looks incredible. Proof? See these photos at ToyArk.
Yeah, this toy is gonna be mine.
It’s a madhouse… and the lunatics are running the asylum. Only the caped crusader can put a stop to the bedlam on Arkham! Take home this super-detailed and articulated Batman Arkham Asylum Play Arts Kai Action Figure that stands approximately 9 1/3-inches tall and comes in a displayable window box. Batman features over 26 points of articulation and includes interchangeable hands and weapons from the game, and the unsurpassed quality of the paint application and texture is to die for! He’s a must for all Batman fans.

Man I still can’t get over how skinny Kai figures are. A little too Kia Asamiya to be Arkham Asylum Bats for me. I think I would really be a lot more into it if it was just a Batman figure and not Arkham Asylum/City Batman, because the sculpt and paint job are just absolutely beautiful.
My Saturday night is consumed with action figure headgames. All is lost. 🙂
