I don’t know if you’re a video game man, but both Bioshock games are really fantastic too. They call these ones Spider Splicers in the game and they suck, they climb around on ceilings and fling superheated hooks at you.
If you get the chance, I highly recommend playing Bioshock. It’s a masterpiece of world building, has an interesting story, and is just damn fun to play.
