It’s not a crime if you’ve never heard of Black Rock Shooter (Wikipedia). I first heard about it last year while reading an issue of Giant Robot and ever since reading that article I keep running across the . . . I don’t even know what to call it. All I do know is that it’s amazing that an artist posted an illustration online and it has now led to this upcoming Black Rock Shooter Animation Version Statue*. Not to mention a game in the works and a ton of other stuff that has already been released. Kinda impressive that the internet allows people to get an idea to spread this far.

From the popular Black Rock Shooter series comes this animation version based on the Black Rock Shooter anime! This sculpt features a much more dynamic scene compared to the previous figures: Black Rock Shooter is in mid-motion, dashing forward while ready to fire the giant Rock Cannon she holds with both hands. The stand the figure is placed on also creates quite the scene, with chains wound around the collapsing ground- it adds even more to the lively feeling of the figure! Statue stands approximately 7 3/4-inches tall.
