District 9* was a blast, and now Elysium — coming this summer — looks like it’s gonna be another fantastic film from the same director (trailer posted here). At the very least it’s visually stunning, and that makes the Elysium: The Art of the Film* art book a tempting work. I want to see more from the film, but if it keeps looking as incredible as it has so far I may just have to grab this art book.
From Neill Blomkamp, the director of the acclaimed District 9, comes Elysium, an eagerly awaited sci-fi blockbuster starring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster. All will be revealed in Elysium: The Art of the Film, which will feature a Foreword by Blomkamp, and wealth of stunning production art and photos, including the input of legendary designer Syd Mead (Blade Runner, Tron).
