Out of the three designs in the G.I. Joe Retaliation Bravo Vehicles Wave 2* case I recognize two of them as repaints of older toys, but if that Tread Ripper Tank has existed before today then it’s a design I don’t remember . . . so it’s time for research!
Okay, yojoe.com tells us this is a retool of the H.I.S.S. Attack Scout; yeah, I haven’t been following G.I. Joe closely enough because I don’t remember seeing that nifty H.I.S.S. design before. I have been missing out on fun!
G.I. Joe returns with a vengeance! In the big 2012 movie G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Joe is back to lay the smack-down on Cobra, and this time around, he’s bringing the ninjas. This awesome selection of 3 3/4-inch scale Bravo Vehicles is just what you need to join the action! Ages 4 and up. This Wave 2 case includes 4 individually packaged vehicles of destruction (subject to change): 1x 4×4 with Snake Eyes, 1x Cobra Fang Boat with Swamp Viper, and 2x Tread Ripper Tank with Clutch.

The HISS Scout was part of a wave that was ”cancelled” but then showed up in Canada and a few discount stores like Ross. The Scout didn’t include any kind of canopy cover (making it look really weird) but the new version has a roll-cage which seems an improvement.
