Affiliate Link – G.I. Joe Retro Lunch Box
I don’t recognize the design on this G.I. Joe Retro Lunch Box*, priced at $13 at Entertainment Earth, but the art almost looks like it could have come from a release around 1987 or 1988. Does anyone know if this is completely new G.I. Joe artwork, or is this old art that I’m simply not remembering?
For even more fun with lunchboxes you won’t want to miss Lunchbox, Inside and Out* (reading post here), because it’s a book packed with classic lunchbox designs. Seriously, it’s a fun read!
In simple and classy red, white, and blue, the G.I. Joe Retro Lunch Box is as patriotic as the heroes it shows in action! The tin lunch box measures 7 3/4-inches long x 6 3/4-inches wide x 4 1/4-inches tall, so it’s got plenty of room for your peanut butter and jelly sandwich and carton of milk. It also happens to feature Croc Master, Gung-Ho, Flint, Fast Draw, and the vehicles Buzz Boar, Mamba, and Defiant. Pack your lunch with the pride of a Real American Hero with the G.I. Joe Retro Lunch Box!

Hi Phil,
This was the cover art for one of the booklets that used to come with the vehicles that had pictures of all the toys from that particular year/release.
