Affiliate Link – Japanese Toys

I’ve got a few different books on Japanese toys and on sci-fi toys from the 50s and 60s, but I do not own the Japanese Toys: Amusing Playthings from the Past* book and I’ve gotta say it looks interesting. I’ve got a few of Schiffer’s books, and my one complaint with all of them is that the photos are less-than-perfect. So I hesitate to order this without getting a chance to flip through the pages.

The one review at Amazon is very favorable, and the book’s description (see below) makes it sound fun, but I’d love to hear from someone who owns the book. So this is my attempt at finding out if anyone reading this owns the book. Any owners? Any opinions? Help?
