Affiliate Link – Mega Man X Vile Statue
Spotting the new Mega Man X Vile Statue* over at Entertainment Earth reminded me that I never did a very good job of showing off the Vile digital illustration that I created last year (posted here). I suppose that the smart answer is to add that to my Flickr account . . . but maybe later; right now I’m too busy trying to decide if that Vile statue looks cool enough that I should order one for myself.
NOTE: Reader Josh says this is the Vile action figure and not a statue. Entertainment Earth calls it a statue with interchangeable hands. Who is right? I wish I knew. I suspect Josh is correct.
You probably need another violent antagonist on your shelf, and Vile from Mega Man X should do the trick. A super-accurate depiction of the Mega Man villain, this Mega Man X Vile Statue has not 1, but 2 shoulder-mounted cannons and stands just under 5-inches tall. The sculpture also features a knee cannon and shot-effect parts. A full array of interchangeable hand parts, including a hand holding a bourbon glass (or is it mud?) for depiction of an iconic bar saloon scene, are also included in the set!

Wait..isn’t that the D-Arts Vile figure? Thats most certainly not a statue! Confusing listing, that is.
@Josh – Whew! I hope you’re right because I was a bit confused by the “statue” part. And the size felt too small for a statue, but since the Entertainment Earth teams has one in their hands and I don’t I trusted them. If this is the action figure then it makes a lot more sense.
