Affiliate Link – OMFG (Outlandish Mini Figure Guys) Series 1

This was completely unexpected! Over at Entertainment Earth the OMFG (Outlandish Mini Figure Guys) Series 1* is now up for pre-orders. You may remember this Kickstarter project from last summer, or maybe you just remember the review I posted earlier this month, but regardless of your memories I’m still happy to see these toys make it up on Entertainment Earth. I hope the sales are strong!

Is this the greatest series of mini-figures ever? This collectible line of figures was developed by toy fans, for toy fans, and is nothing short of superb fun. Each individually packaged set comes in a bright blue blister card package, and includes the following characters cast in a fleshy-colored plastic: Multiskull (designed by Charles “Monsterforge” Marsh), Crawdad Kid (designed by Daniel Yu), Phantom Shithouse (designed by Kyle Thye and Ralph Niese), King Castor (designed by Dominic “The Evil Earwig” Campisi), Stroll (designed by John “Spanky” Stokes and sculpted by George Gaspar).

These unpainted mini-figures are super fun and packed with awesome detail. The castle-like King Castor has a boiler on his back and a little cannon on his flat castle head, Stroll has a big eye and fangs, and the Phantom Shithouse is, well, a haunted outhouse. (It’s pretty gnarly.) With 5 figures at a great price, this is the can’t-miss gift for any collector of 1980s-style minifigures, or one of the best things you could ever hope to have on your desk! ​
