At $200 you’ve got to be a real Space Ace* fan to go after this Space Ace Kimberly Animated Ladies Statue*, but considering how little there is out there for fans of the game to collect maybe $200 isn’t too bad. The statue does look very nice in the promo pic.
Electric Tiki’s Animated Ladies Kimberly statue features a beautifully designed metallic black and electric blue base featuring 5 oval display areas. The primary oval display area features the Space Ace logo, while the other 4 oval displays feature model sheet character drawings. Kimberly is depicted wearing her super-cool winged roller skates above a deco inspired clear cap inspired by an original game environment. This cold cast resin statue is approximately 12-inches tall. Each is hand numbered, hand painted, and ready to display. Designed by Tracy Mark Lee, sculpted by Chuck Williams with a base sculpted by Brandon Parcinski.
Electric Tiki Design presents an all new line dedicated to animations leading ladies. Fifth in the series, Kimberly (or Kimmy) springs from one of the most famous video games in history. Space Ace was the brain child of veteran Disney animator Don Bluth and the follow to up to his mega hit Dragon’s Lair. It was revolutionary for it’s time, utilizing feature quality hand drawn animation as its platform. Kidnapped by the evil Borf, Kimberly has to rely upon her boyfriend Ace to rescue her. The only problem is, Ace has been struck by the “infanto ray” which transforms him into Dexter, a teenage version of himself at the most inopportune times.
