Affiliate Link – Star Wars Cruisemissile Trooper
It kinda feels like a crime that the 1997 Star Wars Cruisemissile Trooper* doesn’t have the “Expanded Universe” branding on the box. I mean, just look at the thing! Created by Kenner in the nineties for their Power of the Force action figure series this should totally be classified as an “Expanded Universe” toy and find its way into my Universe Expanded book. BUT the toy’s not officially part of the 1998 “Expanded Universe” subline so it doesn’t make it into the book.
You know how some people collect just one specific Star Wars action figure, vehicle, or character? Those collections of “Hey, look, nothing but vintage Jawas!” always look incredible. Maybe I should become the Cruisemissile Trooper* collector and snatch up every single one that I encounter. Nah. That would be a bad idea. Besides, does the world really need someone who assembles a collection of dozens of these things? Probably not.
