Affiliate Link – Star Wars Imperial TIE Bomber
At Wal-Mart over the last few months I keep seeing this Star Wars Imperial TIE Bomber* on “clearance” at Wal-Mart for almost $40. Wal-Mart’s clearance section is a trap and a danger to anyone who doesn’t pay attention to prices, but that’s a discussion for another day.
At the moment, though, the Entertainment Earth sale has the same toy marked down to $20. Now that’s a clearance/sale price and a much better deal than I’ve been seeing at Wal-Marts all the way from Massachusetts to Texas.
Part of the Galactic Empire’s fleet of heavy bombers, the TIE Bomber is here to pound some asteroids while hunting down Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon. This carefully crafted ship includes a working bomb chute and a spring-loaded firing rocket, making it the most dangerous craft yet! The interior seats 1 Imperial pilot (sold separately). It also features a removable “ejection” seat. Ages 4 and up. Former retailer exclusive.

Yeah, what the hell is with that? They moved the bombers into a newly reorganized discount section at the Walmart near me and I looked again just out of curiosity, still thirty-five bucks! I bought it when it was a Target exclusive a few years back and I’m good with that version
@Black Zarak – I should start taking photos of the clearance toys at Wal-Mart so I can put together a post about how their deals are not good at all.
Hahaha, that would be a good one. One Walmart in my area has an entire peg of nothin’ but poor old Malakili in their discount section, still marked at six-ninety something.
