Entertainment Earth has already started their after Christmas sale, and the first thing that caught my eye was this Superman Batman DVD Batman Maquette* that’s knocked down almost 40%. Nice, but I’ve already committed to the Batman Black and White statue series* and the last thing I need to do is get distracted by other Batman statues.
Hey, Lex Luthor, here comes Batman! This hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain maquette of Batman is based on art from the highly anticipated Warner Home Video made-for-DVD animated original movie Superman/Batman: Public Enemies that was, in turn, inspired by the DC Comics graphic novel from Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness. Measuring approximately 9 1/2-inches tall x 4 1/2-inches wide x 6-inches long, the impressive statue includes a 4-color certificate of authenticity and is packaged in a 4-color box. It’s a limited edition of 4,000 pieces that’s sure to give ol’ Lex more than he can handle!
