I don’t think any of us expected the retro-style 3.75-inch scale action figures to go as far as they have in such a short time. When Super7 first announced the Alien ReAction series (first mentioned here) I certainly never expected the concept to explode in the way that it has.
All of that is a lot of words to get to the 2014 SDCC exclusive 3.75-inch scale figures based on The Twilight Zone. Color versions of the upcoming B&W toys, including this The Twilight Zone Invader 3 3/4-Inch Action Figure In Color – Convention Exclusive* which is available for pre-order now at Entertainment Earth. Hmmmmmm. Color con exclusives or B&W standards? That’s a tough call.
Entertainment Earth Convention Exclusive! The Twilight Zone action figures you always wanted! Bif Bang Pow! presents the first-ever The Twilight Zone Invader 3 3/4-Inch Action Figure in Color, featuring a favorite character from The Twilight Zone. You wish you had it before, so don’t let it pass you by now! Limited edition of only 456 individually numbered pieces.
This authentically designed and rendered plastic action figure sports 4 points of articulation: shoulders, and hips. In color and 3 3/4-inch scale, it offers the Invader, one of those “tiny beings from the tiny place called Earth” in the memorable The Twilight Zone episode “The Invaders” that starred Agnes Moorhead. He brings and can hold two light stick accessories that glow in the dark, too! Ages 14 and up.
I’m honestly interested in the color versions of these more than the Black and White. I’m really starting to grow fond of the retro action figures and would love to add these to my eventual Legends of Cthulhu set!
@Barbecue17 – I think I am starting to want both versions.
I think I’ll need to get one of these figures no matter what color it is. Such a great episode.
@clark – Hopefully the toys are as nice as the other Kenner-style we’ve seen recently. The one great thing about this type of design is that there’s not a lot that can go wrong with the joints.
