Affiliate Link – Transformers Voyager Strafe

I first mentioned this upcoming Transformers Voyager Strafe* back in December (mentioned here) and I’m still trying to figure out why Strafe gets so much love. In that older post about this toy DoctorKent (blog) suggested that:

Strafe is not popular. He’s just a name they have available.

Sounds as good a reason as any to me, but unless someone releases an unofficial add-on pack that turns this from a movie-style toy into a Generation One-style toy I think I’ll stick with my first instinct and pass. The colors and jet mode look good, but the robot mode just isn’t exciting me all that much.

Their war, our world! The massive robots in disguise can be anything– a helicopter, a rescue vehicle, even your car– and who knows what they’re after? This is the individually packaged Strafe toy. Measures about 7-inches long in vehicle mode and is ready to crush the Decepticons threat. What’s more, it can combine with certain smaller Transformers like Sunspot or Skystalker (sold separately).
