Affiliate Link – Tron and Sark Kubrick 2-Pack
If you wanted them when they were released but still haven’t grabbed the Tron and Sark Kubrick 2-Pack* then now’s your chance. Entertainment Earth has this set marked down almost $6; still not enough to make me jump at it, but getting warmer. I suspect that these will all be gone before they hit a price I’m willing to pay. Kubricks are kinda neat and all, but I fear that for these to really look stunning you need dozens of them on a shelf.
Twenty-five years ago, Disney revolutionized filmmaking with the cutting-edge film Tron. Computers, then becoming more and more prevalent in society, became the setting for a story of tyranny and rebellion within the confines of what would be termed “cyberspace.” The film’s main characters, the security program Tron and the command program Sark are recreated by Medicom as 2 1/2-inch tall Kubrick figures for this 2-pack. Limited to 1,500 sets outside of Japan, this is one set that no fan of the film will want to miss.
