Aldens 1982 Christmas Catalog and Kenner’s Star Wars
These two pages from the 1982 Aldens Christmas catalog are everything that the Kenner generation will need to have a wonderful Monday morning. The AT-AT, the Star Wars Micro Collection, and even that Darth Vader Collector’s Case that we looked at on Saturday are just some of the toys displayed on these two pages.
According to Wikipedia the Aldens catalog was discontinued in 1985, making this one of the last published by the company. I can’t ever remember visiting one of the stores when I was a kid, and it seems that’s because they were only a catalog business. Nifty stuff! We get to see wonderful toys in a catalog and a bit of a history lesson. I told you this is what you needed for a wonderful Monday morning.
