“American Defense” Only at K-Mart in 1987!
Even as late as 1987 we saw companies trying to capitalize on the success of Hasbro’s 3.75-inch scale G.I. Joe action figures. Here we see a fantastic ad for American Defense, a line of toys playable with G.I. Joe and, according to figurerealm.com, produced by Remco. Fantastic, especially the micro-playsets shown in the ad. Best part? Maybe the “Only at K-Mart” right in the center of the ad.
