October, 1986. Dragon magazine offers us this fantastic full-page ad for GURPS Autoduel (find at Amazon.com*), the Car Wars roleplaying game supplement from Steve Jackson Games. As more and more of my time is taken up with playtesting, discussing, planning, and generally thinking about the newest edition of Car Wars it’s fun to look back at the past and realize how amazing it is that one of my favorite games as a kid is now part of my work. Take that, everyone who ever said I was wasting my time with games!
