Another “Sleepy Hollow” Action Figure Advertisement from McFarlane Toys

After last week’s Sleepy Hollow ad I thought it only fitting to search my magazine archives for other McFarlane Toys’ ads for the line. Today’s ad is from Toyfare magazine (find at Amazon.com*) in 2000, from the exact issue that featured the Headless Horseman action figure on the cover.

Okay, just how many tens of thousands of dollars did McFarlane Toys sink into advertising each year? This one issue of Toyfare includes five full-page ad from McFarlane Toys, four of which are the very first pages of the magazine. No wonder they also had the cover spot this month!
