Any News on Super7’s Transformers Toys and Goodies?
Remembering that Super7 (website, Twitter) announced that they had secured a Transformers license (pics from SDCC here) had me searching the web for any information the company may have released since San Diego Comic Con. I want the Super Shogun Optimus Prime, the vinyl toys, and the glasses they announced . . . but I’m not seeing any news on what’s happening with all of these.
Web searches, though, aren’t revealing any news since the display at SDCC last summer. Very sad, but hopefully Super7 will have something at SDCC this year . . . though I am thinking it’s likely to be everything except the toys since I truly believe we would have seen toys by now if Super7 was going to be selling these this summer.
Has anyone got any info on what’s happening with this license at Super7?

Those pics are from toyfairs past and I don’t remember any mention of super7 this toyfair. I looked at thier site recently and the first page of products was clearance items, chocolate throwpillows with simple teal shapes on them. That’s when the words design collective resonated with me. I find the price of s7 jumbos prohibitive anyway. I like the design of jumbos not the method. I think the nugget that started this was the ability to make giant toys for $15 and those people would have picked a different method today.
@Openchallenge – The pic here, and the ones I linked to, were all from SDCC last year. I know because I shot the photos while I was at the show. I can’t remember seeing Super7 at NYTF this year (but I was busy and didn’t see much of the show at all so I am not the best source for this year’s show).
And yeah, the Super Shogun Stormtrooper was a pricey piece. But I’m glad I went for it; the toy looks neat in the display with other Stormtroopers.
