Armored Trooper Votoms 1/12 Scale Action Figure

The Scopedog is the most recognizable of the Armored Trooper Votoms mecha (find at Amazon.com*), instantly identifiable as belonging to the series. There have been a number of Scopedog toys over the years, which makes it unsurprising that I encountered this ad on the back cover of a 2005 issue of ToyFare magazine. The ad states that the toy is 1/12 scale, but the article inside lists the toy as 5-inches tall, so something doesn’t line up right. Still, it’s a hell of a cool design and one massive toy. The toy mecha is over a foot tall!
