Art from Ladybird’s Masters of the Universe “The Iron Master” Book
You may remember when I mentioned last week that a stack of Ladybird Books from the eighties reached me. Included in the stack were several of the Masters of the Universe books (Amazon.com search*), all of which include artwork that’s far below the quality I expect from Mattel’s Masters of the Universe series.
These images from The Iron Master, a story as convoluted and silly as we could ever hope for from the series, clearly show what bad artwork Ladybird Books created for the line. I am kinda surprised that Mattel ever even allowed these books to exist.
