Yesterday’s 1978 newspaper ad for Mattel’s Battlestar Galactica toys was not alone. Hiding in that same issue of the Kokomo Tribune was this small ad block alerting customers to a possible delay in delivery at some stores. That’s crazy! These days, stores will just shrug their shoulders if they don’t have the newest toys . . . and advertise the new toys? Forget that!
