Barack-In-The-Box?

I don’t think I’m understanding what’s going on around here. So if I take our President’s image and place it on anything I can make money? Well, hell, let’s see the Sucklord or the guys at the Secret Cinnamon Squad take advantage of this and give us a messed up Barack Obama resin figure.

It seems that the maker behind Barack-In-The-Box is stepping up their “capitalize on the President” efforts just a tad with a 100th Day Promotion. (Caps are mine.)

“Pop Art Creations, a small San Jose-based, toymaking company will be giving one hundred Barack Obama jack-in-the-box toys to unsuspecting San Franciscans’ outside the Ferry Building on Monday, April 27th at 4pm. The giveaway is meant to commemorate President Obama’s 100th day in office, and give folks a little something to smile about in the face of our ailing economy. “

Well, at least it’s a giveaway and not a short-run colorway. 🙂

  1. Yeah, his image sells. I was in a home decor store with my wife and they had paintings of President Obama in between the paintings of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean. I guess that’s pretty appropriate though.
