BattleTech CCG 1998 Mechwarrior Expansion Advertisement

Here’s another ad for the BattleTech trading card game (Amazon.com search*), this time from the January 1998 issue of Scrye magazine. There was a time when CCG players had three magazines of choice — Duelist, InQuest, and Scrye — but today, all three of these are long dead and gone. Unfortunate, because it is my opinion that we could really use some game magazines out there to give fans a different look at the market. A magazine has a different feel than a website, and I regret that we have lost the tactile sensation and fun of a printed magazine for games.
