Belk Beery and Mattel’s Secret Wars in 1984
Belk Beery ads of the eighties are strange things. We saw one of the 1985 Belk Beery toy ads last month and I commented on how it was strange that the ad didn’t show the toys. Well, this 1984 newspaper ad lists Mattel’s Secret Wars toys but again fails to show us the toys. I cannot understand how someone thought these were useful toy ads.
