Bionic Bigfoot and Play-Doh Supermarket
The Testors Galax IV Hovercraft ad that I shared on Christmas included a few other toys that are worth mentioning: The Bionic Bigfoot and Play-Doh Supermarket, both produced by Kenner. What makes this ad particularly entertaining, though, is how it predicts the future by listing the Play-Doh toy as manufactured by Hasbro. Sorry, 1978, but you were a bit too early. Hasbro didn’t add Play-Doh to their catalog until 1991.
