The March, 1997 issue of Lee’s Action Figure News & Toy Review (Amazon.com search*) had this ad on the back cover, promoting that year’s BotCon show in New York. I never did get to go to a BotCon show back then, but it was right around 1996 or 1997 that I learned of the show and wished to go. Just not enough money back then to travel to the show . . . and now it’s not enough time to go. Damn. What we need is a way for the me of today to send money to the me of two decades ago. Someone solve that problem for me, please.
