Brainiac and Ocean Master, Two Weirdos
The absolute best part about having a long-lived comic universe is embracing the past. And DC is clearly embracing their past with this History of the DC Universe Series 3 Action Figure Set*, because why else would anyone release another classic Brainiac action figure. And Ocean Master? Wikipedia has the details, but how can we take him seriously when he’s wearing that costume? Still, it’s better than watching classic Aquaman cartoons (from the sixties). Don’t believe me? Watch this, but be careful that “whale brain scrambler” doesn’t get you:
The third series of action figures that spans the broad history of the DC Universe includes more fan-favorite characters that have rarely been produced in action figure form! Ocean Master (half-brother of Aquaman), the super-flexible Plastic Man and Superman’s nemesis Brainiac join the Man of Steel himself in this series, based on George Pérez’s art from History of the DC Universe. Each 7-inch figure features multiple points of articulation and a base.
