“Bring back cartoons”
The May 17, 1988 issue of the Malaysian New Straits Times includes two letters from readers asking for more Robotech. These letters give us an idea of what fans underwent at the time, showing that a station was broadcasting various cartoons and then stopped without finishing story arcs. This isn’t extremely mindblowing, but it’s a fun snapshot from a different time and place.
