Buck Rogers XXVc Cover: Sargasso of Space
Following the Deimos Mandate cover we saw a few days ago comes another Jerry Bingham painting for TSR’s Buck Rogers XXVc* roleplaying game, this time for the sequel to Deimos Mandate. Great to see Bingham back at work on the series, though this cover — while dynamic — is missing the little details and atmospheric elements found in many of the other covers in the line. This almost looks as if it were cropped from a much larger painting . . .
So, I was able to score the boxed set on eBay recently and this adventure was in there. I take it that it wasn’t originally part of the set? Either way, SCORE, because it’s an awesome cover–though I haven’t had a chance to read through it yet.
