Cadillacs and Dinosaurs 2nd Edition Roleplaying Game

Based on the comics, cartoon, and toyline which were all derived from Mark Schultz’s Xenozoic Tales comic book, the Cadillacs and Dinosaurs* RPG by GDW was first published in 1990. This 1993 advertisement for the game’s second edition leaves me with one question: Was that second edition rulebook ever really published? I can’t find a second edition game for sale, and something in the back of my mind keeps nagging at me to say: This never saw the light of day. Help?
