Callgrim Custom Corps in Less than Three Hours

It’s almost time for Jesse’s very first Callgrim Custom Corps launch, and there are now more details and pics at the Callgrim blog. Fantastic Transformers and Masters of the Universe-inspired custom action figures priced at $40 and completely blind-bagged. I’m hoping I get one of the Transformers-styled figures, but I wouldn’t be upset at all about a Clone Trooper or Masters of the Universe-styled custom.

Seeing all of these photos reminds me of Matt’s first Custom Corps launch back in April, 2009. His Masters of the Universe-inspired and Transformers-inspired customs completely managed to avoid coming to my house, but the Custom Corps Sincroid that I managed to get (review here) happily lives in my collection today and maybe one day I’ll trick Matt into making a new Custom Corps wave and get another chance at more of his figures.

But tonight’s a chance at Jesse’s hardcore launch. The figures are $40/each and completely random, so there’s no telling just what I’ll wind up with. But no matter which one it is I know it’s gonna be a beauty. And I’m even gonna get an art book!

Callgrim Custom Corps 1 drops tonight (July 7th) at 9pm EDT. There will be a new post here with a link to purchases the figures- $40 each, limit 2 per customer. A new Callgrim art book with over 50+ pages featuring the custom insert card art for CCC1 will also be available for $20.
