Callgrim’s New Ride
Jesse Moore’s Callgrim (website) is getting a new release soon: check the blog for shots of the new production action figures and the completely new vinyl toy. Awesome stuff; I got a peek at these at NYCC last month and I can say that I plan to get both as soon as they’re released.
To celebrate the announcement I put together this quick digital illustration of Callgrim’s bike (using colors nothing like the actual toys), but for the real photos see the Callgrim blog. You really do want to see the photos because the weathering and paint apps on the production toys are fantastic; Jesse painted up the masters using the same techniques he used in his Custom Corps release and the factory did a great job following the masters.

I am hardcore pumped for both bikes, hopefully I will be able to afford ’em when the time comes. 😀
Is that Botcon Cindersaur colors?
@Seth L – The bike’s colors were inspired by the G1 Headmaster Squeezeplay. Callgrim’s just fairly neutral colors that help pop him off of the bike.
@Vangelus – Save those bucks! I think these two sets are being released in the next month or so. Maybe even less.
The pictures are incredible. I’ve never been able to design vehicles, and man I really appreciate someone who can. That’s some really fantastic design work there.
I can’t wait. No way I am screwing this up like the big rig. Just put the bike in the cart and check out as quick as possible!
