Camera Extension Tube Test
I think that last time I showed test shots from the Olympus Pen E-PL1 camera* was way back in 2013 when I first bought the camera. I used it three or four times, but I never did get the white balance just right so the camera went onto the shelf where it sat . . . until last week.
The above photo was shot on my Olympus Pen E-PL1 camera* with one slight modification: I added an extension tube to the camera. Specifically, I bought the Vello Econo Auto Focus Extension Tube Set for Micro Four Thirds Mount* and added that to the camera. I still need to work on the white balance, and I need a lot more time with the extension tube, but the above pic is the closest I’ve managed to get on a toy’s face. I think that if I keep at it — and if I can figure out the damned white balance tools in the camera — then I may start using this Olympus Pen E-PL1* on a regular basis.
