Candy Land in Timeless Toys
I’ve mentioned Timeless Toys: Classic Toys and the Playmakers Who Created Them* a few times before, and while digging through Google’s various archives I noticed that they’re sharing a significant portion of the book online.
The digital archive makes a nice preview — and the Candy Land section in the book gives a great idea of what the book is like — but the online archive in no way replaces actually holding the book in your hands. This is a thick, meaty hardcover and one I turn to frequently when I want to look into the toys and games of the twentieth century.
