“Celebrate a Decade of Star Wars” in 1988

From the November, 1988 issue of Dragon magazine comes this Star Wars advertisement reminding us that a decade of fun had passed . . . and we were unknowingly being led to many more years of excitement with the Star Wars brand.

The West End Games Star Wars roleplaying game (Amazon.com search*) was very likely my favorite RPG at the time this ad was new. I can remember having insane amounts of fun with only the first two hardcovers in the series (shown in this ad). There are days I kinda wish the Star Wars universe was as compact and focused today as it was when this ad was new.
