Classics Cliffjumper Custom Kit at TFSource

Something I do not understand is why this Classics Cliffjumper – Devil Horns – Custom Kit is coming out now. I mean, I don’t think this mold is being rereleased so the only people who can even care about this are those who are already sitting on a Classics Cliffjumper toy. I suppose that you could go out and buy a Transformers Classics Cliffjumper*, but the price these days makes it not exactly a simple move to take.

This great custom upgrade kit includes everything you will need to upgrade your Classics Cliffjumper! Included is an all new head sculpt, and two guns: A Hand-Held Beam Cannon and a Special Function Laser Gun!

All parts of this product are made from ABS material,the eyes of the head sculpt are transparent blue and are made from PC material.

What would I create if I was designing my own unofficial Transformers add-on set? Well, if I wanted something for Cliffjumper then I would design “wing” extensions that snap onto the Cybertronian Cliffjumper’s* vehicle mode to give the vehicle mode a shape more like we see Bumblebee use in the first episode of the classic cartoon.

With a kit like that you can release it in two colors and make more cash for your efforts . . . and it would be usable with toys that are still on the market. How would the extensions work in robot mode? The best I can think of is either to create armor that snaps over the arms and legs (especially the legs, since they look a bit thin in comparison to the body and arms of the toy) or to create a jetpack accessory.

You wouldn’t get an exact match for the cartoon design, but you could get something relatively close. And I personally think that would be a more exciting add-on kit.
