If I’m going to do for the G.I. Joe series of the eighties the same thing that I did for Kenner’s Star Wars line (check out my book at Amazon.com*) then it is time that I start searching for more G.I. Joe newspaper ads, yes? Good thing those archives are just begging to be explored, because after just a few moments of digging I uncovered this 1984 newspaper ad. The trick? Just going page by page because the search tool doesn’t catch the majority of what’s out there.
