Combat-R Zero “Swamp” Model Gets Wet

Hey, when you name your robot toy “Swamp” you’ve got to expect me to find some water for him to play in. And poor Mer-Man just didn’t see this big guy coming until it was too late. Combat-R Zero is from Atomic Mushroom Toys and you’ll get a closer look at him later this week.

  1. A thousand mint-on-card collectors just shrieked at such a high pitch that dog everywhere went deaf for a short period.

    I say, “Let em shriek!”

I love the water pics, man!

  2. I’ve been thinking about picking a couple of these guys up. I’m really not into the whole vinyl thing, but these guys look like they might have enough play value to warrant a purchase.

  3. @Newton – This is one of the most playable vinyl toys I’ve seen. He’s big, solid, and looks great.

  4. I can second that. Sure, it’s technically “urban vinyl,” but the things are durable as all hell — and given the sheer size of the things, the price tag makes a little more sense than, say, some 3″ piece.

Also: nice that you put “Swamp” in the, er…well, you know.
