Cthulhu Yahtzee Quick Pics

If you’ve read Family Games: The 100 Best* then you know that I wrote the Yahtzee essay in the book. Yahtzee is a fantastic push your luck game, and getting the chance to contribute a little to the history of the game was a real treat.

And as a Yahtzee fan there was no choice but to buy a copy of Cthulhu Yahtzee* once I saw the game had been released. Produced by USAopoly, the Cthulhu statue/dice cup is the important part of what makes this game so very special. That plastic statue is cool as hell; it doesn’t hurt at all that the dice are also custom and nifty.

Is it for everyone? Nope. But it’s definitely for me.
