Click through to see the custom Blackbeard action figure and for pics of what’s a very amazing work of art by the team of Hanouman and Andy Bergholtz with Sebastien Bontemps (Elvis1976) and Skiman Workshop. A custom head and many, many parts from other toys all brought together to bring Blackbeard back to life. Seriously, the $500 looks to me like a great price for a custom toy with this much work sunk into it. If I had half this much skill I’d be a million times more talented than I am.

And the patience it takes to do this level of work is something I know I’ll never have.
